The road to Financial Freedom is filled with discoveries, life lessons, and sometimes even surprises. Financial freedom is one of the most desired objective of many, whether an individual or a family. Everyone wants to be free financially and have that financial stability where you don’t have to live paycheck to paycheck. Financial freedom is: having enough financial resources to cover all one’s expenses and still having enough left in case of emergencies or any inconveniences life may bring. There is stress that comes with not having financial stability. If you live in the States, you are most likely familiar with the lifestyle where almost everything is a bill. It is ongoing, monthly; it does not stop! Some have to sacrifice working more than one job to make ends meet, which takes away from family time. So what is the solution? How does one achieve financial freedom? I am glad you asked! I have learned that achieving financial freedom is not a microwave process but a journey. As I am in that learning process, I want to share a few tips that I have learned so far!

“Financial Freedom is being both financially STABLE and financially RESPONSIBLE!”
-Unknown-
Someone once said that financial freedom comes with stability and also responsibility. Stability is having the means, but being responsible is being a good steward, and it requires discipline. One may have the means, but with a lack of proper management, one may lose everything in a short period.

Biblical Perspective
Remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth. (Deuteronomy 8:18). "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and try me now in this, says the Lord of hosts if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it." (Malachi 3:10) "And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field" (Malachi 3:11)
As you read, don’t forget to bring your tithes and your offerings to the house of the Lord, meaning your local church or wherever you are planted, and The Lord promises to take care of our finances. Also, always remain humble no matter the level of financial capacity you reach. Help someone in need whenever you can, and be a source of blessing. Beware of scammers! There are many out there promising people to make them rich overnight. BE VERY CAREFUL! If it looks or sounds too good to be true, chances are something is wrong or there is a catch somewhere.
Lastly, I pray that you succeed, and I encourage you not to give up and be consistent. Do not beat yourself up if your expectations were not met; create new expectations! Set realistic goals. I pray that The Lord gives you wisdom on your journey! Let’s go!

May 26, 2022 2:04 PMGreat insights sis! I love the idea of passive income. I read about the FIRE (financial independence retire early) and it made me realize that you don’t need to be 65 to retire. Knowing that I can retire at any age as long as I have the income to do so is an awesome feeling. Free time to devote to family and ministry is definitely what retiring early would mean for me.
