Many of us have big dreams, which is fantastic, but we must remember something that may sound very cliché but yet essential and biblical. You may be asking: What is it, Sandra? It is nothing but this: DO NOT DESPISE SMALL BEGINNINGS! What do I mean by that? I mean realizing your dreams or getting that success that you’re after will take a PROCESS. Sometimes we try to skip the process and jump into the realization but I want to remind you that it is there for a reason. The process is there to teach, develop, cultivate and help you grow so that when you get to the finish line, you know how to be a good steward of that dream. Whatever your small beginning may look like, do not despise it, do not underestimate it; Do it faithfully and God will surprise you!

" Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much" (Luke 16:10)

Everyone started somewhere, and it is ok to start with the little ingredient you have. One important thing you’ll need is VISION. You want to change the World? Start with the people God has placed in your life now, your community. As you do that faithfully, The Lord will open other doors. You want to be a multi-millionaire? How are you managing the few thousand that you have now? You want to be a homeowner; how are you managing your credit now? and I can go on, but you get the idea.

Your present situation may not look like your dream but do not get discouraged. God knows how to make a way where there seems to be no way! Trust God and trust the process. Say no to distractions and procrastination, and stay focused! Let the Holy Spirit be your guide and allow the process to take you there. Remember, the process is there to prepare you; if you get there without preparation, you will not be able to remain there for long, and God does not want that for you. A blessing received too soon is not a blessing at all. An excellent illustration would be giving a car key to an 18-year-old versus a three-year-old. Although that car key may be a blessing to the 18-year-old, it won’t be such a blessing to the three-year-old; it might even be harmful because the three-year-old is not yet prepared. Don’t despise small beginnings; trust the process.
